Sussmann leaves "happy audience quite dazzled" in Boston

Following his debut with the Celebrity Series of Boston in November, Arnaud Sussmann returned to the area for a solo recital in Newton on February 23 together with pianist Gloria Chien. In a glowing review from The Boston Music Intelligencer, Susan Miron shares, “Sussman [sic] made a splendid impression…Sussman showed extraordinary control over both dynamics and technique. Everything was clean; pitches were always discernible.Throughout, he had a wide variety of tone colors, dynamics, and vibratos.” The venue was packed, and the artists “…left the happy audience quite dazzled.”
