To start 2019, the Carpe Diem String Quartet performed Jonathan Leshnoff’s quartet Four Dances to a sold-out audience at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall on January 6. The work’s new transcription for saxophone quartet will have its premiere and two subsequent performances at the International Saxophone Symposium in Fairfax, VA on January 11.
