Shadrin Dazzles at Steinway Series at Silo Hill

On September 21, the esteemed Steinway Series at Silo Hill in Phoenix, MD opened its season with pianist Yury Shadrin in a sold-out performance featuring solo and duo works with his partner, Tian Lu.

As the presenter noted thereafter, “From the first note to the last, Yury’s performance was engaging. His ensemble with Tian was absolutely flawless—they are truly one of the best piano duos I have experienced…The audience was instantly on their feet following the last of the Tarantella in the Rachmaninoff.
